9.10.19 Summary

Project Hatchery – Report 09.10.19 We started our Meeting with calling our group members in Salo. Luis gave a short introduction about our plan for today, which is to finish our project plan and start with the poster. At first, we added and discussed about more goals for our project plan. Also, we revised the deadlines for our tasks and when our project needs to be done completely. à 04.12.2019 In order to illustrate our progress and deadlines, we discussed the making of a Gantt chart. So, we would set a schedule and could track our progress plan. Together we created a timeline which we divided into three sections. Consisting of 1. design a survey, 2. conduct the survey and 3. benchmarking the data. For each section we have set a time span which we should adhere to in order to finish our survey on time. Report 02.10. Project hatchery For our meeting on the 2nd of October, everyone (Salo and Turku group) gathered in Lemminkäisenkatu for discussing the project plan. The session started with Louis giving a brief introduction about last week ’s meeting, and then proceeded with David talking about the Project Plan documents that the Salo team worked on last week à why? What? When? How? How much? Together we discussed the content for our project plan. We divided the group into 3 different teams to work on different tasks about the Project Plan. Students in Salo worked on the Project Organization and Implementation After the 3 teams were done with their part, we read out the content and made some changes where it was necessary.   Project hatchery meeting Salo - 25.09.2019 After the reading circle we had a phone call with the other group at 2pm. Firstly, every group explained something about the reading circles. After this Arvi explained us something about the presentation of last week and some important deadlines. The presentation is going to be on the 27 th of November. Tareq made the twitter account (@HatcheryProject) because we have to start it quickly. Then we assigned some roles. Louis will be the project manager. David will be the secretary in Salo for the rest of the project. In Turku it will be decided next week. Arvi told that he can be responsible for the poster. Nicholas will be in charge for the blog. Then we discussed about the project plan and how we will create it. The Salo group is in charge for some questions: Why, what, when, how, how much. The Turku group will think about what the project plan includes. We are going to compare the results next week. (Julia)
Project Meeting 18.09.2019   Our Project Meeting (18.09.2019) started with a skype call with our team members in Salo. We divided into groups to come up with possible survey questions and research methods. We also talked about starting a Twitter account to start our blog. The roles assigned where the following: • David is the secretary in Salo • Sümeyye is the secretary in Turku In the following Taru gave us a presentation about what we are going to expect during this project and what kind of experience we will gain.
