9.10.19 Summary
Project Hatchery – Report 09.10.19
We started our Meeting with calling our group members in Salo.
Luis gave a short introduction about our plan for today, which is to finish our project plan and start with the poster.
At first, we added and discussed about more goals for our project plan.
Also, we revised the deadlines for our tasks and when our project needs to be done completely. à 04.12.2019
In order to illustrate our progress and deadlines, we discussed the making of a Gantt chart. So, we would set a schedule and could track our progress plan.
Together we created a timeline which we divided into three sections.
Consisting of 1. design a survey, 2. conduct the survey and 3. benchmarking the data.
For each section we have set a time span which we should adhere to in order to finish our survey on time.
We have agreed to have our design for the email surveys ready by the 30.10.
What we have planned so far:
Since we have a span of 2 weeks after the 30.10. in which the 500 emails will be sent to the customers using the system of Lunea and also receive the answers from them.
From the 13.11. to the 27.11. we have time to analyze the feedback from the customers and benchmark the data.
Thus, I created a Gantt Chart with Excel in which all deadlines and progresses of our project are listed (I uploaded the Gantt chart on Teams). Together we took another look at it and refined it.
Further we collected some ideas and designs for our poster, Selina and Arvi made a sketch of our possible poster on the board.
Our poster should contain important key facts about Lounea as well as some statistics, an appealing picture of an exaggerated smart house. Interesting questions which reflect our survey are also included.
Questions we came up with:
- How important is Security to you?
- How important is it to be connected to your home whilst you are away?
- Would you like to store your security footage in a cloud/ online?
- What makes a home smart?
While we were working on these tasks in Turku, the people in Salo have gathered requirements for the email survey in order to achieve an efficient feedback from a good target-group of customers.
